Yingche (Andy) Huang is a multi-disciplines designer based in New York City. He is an interactive Associate Creative Director in digital agency and he is also an independent graphic artist focusing on illustrations and motion graphics.

He has been working for the best leading interactive agencies in the world, including R/GA and SapientNitro. His works for clients including Verizon, L'Oréal, Time Inc., Discover, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Rolling Stone Magazine, CA Technologies, Johnson & Johnson, E*TRADE...etc.

His personal work has appeared in some international design publications, and exhibited in New York Video Festival in Lincoln Center in New York City, and OFFF post-digital festival. In 2005, he received his US permanent residency as an extraordinary artist from US government to reward his talent on graphic arts.

He was born and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. Before he came to US, he was a filmmaker making independent films, TV commercials and music videos for a few years. In 2000, he graduated as MS in communication design from Pratt Institute in New York. Now he lives with his wife in Brooklyn, NY.

My motion graphic piece Playground was selected in New York Video Festival in Lincoln Center, New York City. I was in discussion panel alongside world-class motion graphic studios after the screening.

I was selected artist for OPENROOM section in this international post-digital festival.

I was selected artist for this tour design exhibition. Get It Louder is a visual noise made by young talented designers and artists around the globe. The exhibition is conceived as a platform for showcasing their creativity and personal thoughts. It held in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen, China.

I’m very honored to collaborate with world-acclaimed artist Daniel Lee (featured in Biennale of Venice 2003, Ars Electronica 2005) to create a large-scale video installation for his solo show CIRCUS – a tour show in Taipei, Shanghai, Beijing and San Antonio.

This book is a comprehensive overview on the creative work of top 40 young Asian graphic designers who have also extensively influence western countries. I was selected as one of the designers to represent the new influences, ideas and trends in graphic design throughout Asia. This book is published by Maomao Publications (Barcelona, Spain) and DAAB (Köln, Germany) in five languages: English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

I was featured in this book that captures the unique styles, forms and visual languages from established graphic designers cross the entire continent to represent contemporary graphic design of Asia. This book is published by Zeixs in Köln, Germany in German and English.

I was selected in Watch Me section in TOCA-ME web portal – the winner of Website Of The Year in Red Dot Awards in Communication Design in 2004.
