bio

Yingche (Andy) Huang is a multi-disciplines designer based in New York City. He is a digital senior art director in agency environment and he is also an independent graphic artist focusing on illustrations and motion graphics.

He has been working for the best leading interactive agencies in the world, including R/GA and SapientNitro. His works for clients including Verizon, L'Oreal, Time Inc., American Express, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, etc.

His personal work has appeared in some international design publications, and exhibited in New York Video Festival in Lincoln Center in New York City, and OFFF post-digital festival. In 2005, he received his US permanent residency as an extraordinary artist from US government to reward his talent on graphic arts.

He was born and grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. Before he came to US, he was a filmmaker making independent films, TV commercials and music videos for a few years. In 2000, he graduated as MS in communication design from Pratt Institute in New York. Now he lives with his wife in Brooklyn, NY.

My motion graphic piece Playground was selected in New York Video Festival in Lincoln Center, New York City. I was in discussion panel alongside world-class motion graphic studios after the screening.
